About Pal-Think for Strategic Studies
Pal-Think is an independent Palestinian centre for strategic studies, founded in Gaza in 1995, producing research and policy papers to support Palestinian decision-making.
Vision, Mission & Values
- Our vision — a democratic, independent Palestinian society with the foundations of resilience, governed by sound and just public policies built on knowledge and dialogue.
- Our mission — to produce strategic knowledge, stimulate public debate on Palestine's political, economic and social questions, and turn both into measurable impact.
- Our values — independence and objectivity, transparency and accountability, pluralism and respect for difference, commitment to human rights, and youth empowerment.
Why Pal-Think?
- Fully independent — Pal-Think answers to no government or party. Our research decisions are independent and rest on transparent funding.
- Participatory by design — effective policy is made with civil society and young people at the table, not in closed rooms.
- Research that lands — our research becomes recommendations, policy papers and field initiatives: measurable change.
- International credibility — strategic partnerships with leading research centres and international organisations in more than 15 countries.
- Regional reach — we put Palestinian questions on the international research agenda by publishing in Arabic and English.
- Full financial transparency — our annual accounts are audited and published. Our pledge: zero outside influence on the research agenda.
