Brief profile|
Abdel Rahim, an English-language graduate, volunteered at Pal-Think for Strategic Studies straight after graduation, and that was his launching point: it helped refine his research, writing, and leadership abilities, and led him to work afterwards as activities coordinator of Pal-Think's Youth Forum for Reconciliation and Tolerance after it won funding from the EED. After a great journey with Pal-Think, Abdel Rahim moved to the Al-Majd development commission as a field researcher responsible for the whole Jabalia area (the camp, the town, and al-Nazla). His direction then shifted toward the world of remote work, which gave him the chance to work for a Saudi services company as a content writer and translator, and later as a social-media trainer and freelancer with Gaza Sky Geeks and the business incubator at the University College.
|A word you want to say to Pal-Think|
Pal-Think embraced me and was my first home. There I grew and my ideas changed: it helped me shed ideas and residues that had held back my growth in entrepreneurship and education and my understanding of democracy, women's rights, minorities, and the vulnerable. Pal-Think, embodied in Mr Omar Shaban, means a great deal to me and always will.
