Pal-Think and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung sign an agreement launching «Renewable energy as a sustainable answer to Gaza's electricity crisis»
Pal-Think is pleased to announce a joint cooperation agreement with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES) — continuing its work as an independent Palestinian research institution pursuing development and prosperity in the Palestinian territories, Gaza above all.

In continuation of the efforts of Pal-Think for Strategic Studies as an independent Palestinian research institution concerned with the issues that concern Palestinian society, and aiming through its projects at achieving development and prosperity in the Palestinian territories in general and the Gaza Strip in particular, Pal-Think for Strategic Studies is pleased to announce a joint cooperation agreement with the German Friedrich Ebert foundation (FES), to begin a project titled: “Renewable energy as a sustainable solution to the electricity crisis in the Gaza Strip”. This project comes in response to the reality of the electricity crisis from which the Gaza Strip suffers, which has become one of the fundamental problems that affect the various aspects of the Palestinian citizens' life, given the difficulty of such a crisis and what it has of economic and social effects and consequences.
This project aims at supporting all the previous and current efforts to find new short-, medium-, and long-term solutions for the electricity crisis, through using the scientific and research methods. The duration of this project is 6 months, and it contains a series of workshops and brainstorming sessions with the experts and all the parties related to the electricity sector, and the results will be presented and submitted in the project's closing conference.
