Irada, “the first incubator for businesswomen in Hebron”, and the Zeina Cooperative Association in Gaza, in partnership with Pal-Think for Strategic Studies, concluded (the initiative of empowering women working in small workshops to shape the policies and make the decisions concerning their economic and social rights) within the project “Strengthening cooperation among Palestinian local community organisations for strengthening the future Palestinian state”.

The training saw wide participation from women working in several small workshops from the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. The initiative aimed, in carrying out its various activities, to enable women working in small workshops to take part effectively in shaping the policies and making the decisions concerning their economic and social rights — affected fundamentally by the state of the Palestinian division — in reliance on the Palestinian Basic Law, the labour law, the CEDAW convention, resolution 1325, and the sustainable-development plan 2020–2030.

The activities included multiple interventions by working women from Hebron and Gaza over Skype in all the activities between the two institutions — allowing the audience to conduct direct discussions and dialogues between the homeland's two halves in unified meetings around an important community issue for the working Palestinian woman and what she faces. At the activities' close, a research paper was produced on the initiative's topic, born of the discussion and dialogue among the working women, to be published in cooperation with Pal-Think for Strategic Studies — containing a set of policies concerning the solutions and alternatives that will help enable women working in small workshops to take part effectively in shaping policies and making decisions concerning their economic and social rights at the level of Palestine.
