Pal-Think for Strategic Studies releases a book within the project “Strengthening cooperation among Palestinian local-action organisations for building the Palestinian state”, implemented by Pal-Think in partnership with Palestinian civil-society institutions in the north and south of Palestine — with the aim of strengthening work and interaction among civil-action organisations at the national level to present scientific visions and policy proposals supporting the building of the Palestinian state.

The book contains 17 working papers, the fruit of the efforts of 34 civil institutions from all the Palestinian governorates, within joint initiatives and events carried out during the project — contributing to finding solutions to the challenges and issues facing Palestinian society and offering solutions to its current crises. The aim of this book was therefore to document the partner institutions' efforts in discussion and dialogue, and to record the results and recommendations that came out of it.

The papers addressed topics and issues across several axes — social, political, economic, and legal — and were presented in many dialogue and discussion sessions over Skype among the participating institutions, in the presence of an elite of researchers and academics and representatives of local community institutions and specialists.

It is noted that the project “Strengthening cooperation among Palestinian local-action organisations for building the Palestinian state” comes within Pal-Think for Strategic Studies' continuing efforts to offer positive, constructive work with genuine, effective participation from society, to develop the human cadre, and to contribute to strengthening the state of harmony and positive interaction. The project likewise helped introduce, network, and strengthen cooperation among the institutions in the homeland's two halves — a first experience for many of them — in addition to developing the research capacity of institutions and individuals.
