This paper aims to bring out the reality of Palestinian migrants and the challenges of exile under the current circumstances Palestinians face amid multiple crises, political and economic, in addition to the deterioration of the social situation as a basic outcome of the worsening humanitarian conditions — which compelled them to leave their country under harsh living conditions they could no longer live with. The paper likewise seeks to offer a broader view, shedding light on the phenomenon of migration in the Gaza Strip — which reports confirm is in steady increase — not only by searching out the causes and motives but by discussing its repercussions on the migrants themselves: an attempt by the paper to encompass the risks entailed by migration through tracking the migrants' reality and the foremost challenges and crises that face them from the moment they take the decision to leave the country, and the hardships and troubles they will suffer in their exile.

The paper seeks to offer recommendations, foremost the creation of national plans concerned fundamentally with strengthening young people's national belonging and the concepts of citizenship, in addition to creating job opportunities and establishing a fertile environment suited to young people and their aspirations.
