Introduction

Talk of the coronavirus in Palestine began when the Palestinian prime minister decided on 22 February 2020 to close all the establishments and restaurants visited by the Korean tourist delegation, some of whose members proved infected with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) upon their return home. The political division that occurred in 2007 has weighed negatively on the Palestinian situation.
