Political participation is one of the means through which young people express their aspirations and their desire to work in the service of their society — above all in the Palestinian reality, which faces challenges standing in the way of advancing Palestinian youth's participation in political and social life. The postponement or obstruction of elections is perhaps the foremost of those challenges, alongside the Palestinian division, whose first victims were the youth — deepening their suffering and weakening their political participation in society and in trade-union work.

In those contexts, this policy paper examines the possibilities and pathways for advancing the political participation of Palestinian youth, and how to activate their energies.

This youth policy paper was produced by young men and women within the “Civic Education 2” project implemented by Pal-Think with funding from the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
