Pal-Think for Strategic Studies issued a youth research paper titled “The absence of Palestinian youth from the pursuits of Palestinian reconciliation”, by Nourhan al-Tabatibi, member of the Democracy and Youth Dialogue Forum, under the project “Pal-Think Academy for Democracy and Human Rights” in partnership with the German Institute for Foreign Relations (ifa). The paper addressed the causes that led to youth's absence from effective political participation in the pursuits of Palestinian reconciliation — after young people had been the pioneers of the movements and calls to end the Palestinian division — and set out a group of policies that would contribute, to a degree, to integrating youth and their energies into political life and activating their role in decision-making and the Palestinian reconciliation.
