A research paper produced by Pal-Think for Strategic Studies addressing the repercussions of the absence of Palestinian elections on youth — especially the general elections — repercussions that grow and deepen with the continuation of the division and its politics in both Gaza and the West Bank. Despite the preparation of government plans, programmes, and strategies to support youth politically and economically, none has yet reached the path of passage and implementation; which calls for reading and analysing the repercussions of the absence of Palestinian elections, whether general or local-authority.
This paper was produced within the “Preparing Young Leaders” project, implemented by Pal-Think for Strategic Studies with the aim of building tomorrow's leaders from among the youth of Palestinian society, building their capacities toward the development and advancement of society, and enabling them to play their part in decision-making.
