Two awareness sessions on the education rights of children with disabilities
Pal-Think held two awareness sessions on the education rights of children with disabilities under the inclusive-education project with Humanity & Inclusion, with 50 young people from different youth groups.
The Pal-Think for Strategic Studies institution held today, Tuesday (10-4), two awareness sessions on the rights of children with disability in education, within the inclusive-education project, with the attendance of 50 young men and women from the different youth groups.
The inclusive-education project is implemented by the Humanity & Inclusion institution in partnership with the Palestine Future for Childhood institution – the cerebral-palsy centre, which presents support to children with disability through integrating them into society in general and public schooling in particular.
The project works on providing a child-friendly learning environment, and training the teachers in the methods of inclusive education and active learning, in addition to presenting psychological and social support services and carrying out awareness sessions to raise the level of awareness of the local community's members around the rights of children with disability in education.
