Pal-Think opens the second «Training of trainers in democracy and human rights» programme
Pal-Think opened its second training programme, «Preparing a trainer in democracy and human rights», under the EU-supported SWITCH project — turning human-rights and democracy principles into daily life and practice in Gaza.
Pal-Think for Strategic Studies opened its second training programme, “Preparing a trainer in democracy and human rights”, part of its project “SWITCH: turning the principles of human rights and democracy into daily life and practice for the residents of the Gaza Strip”, in cooperation with the European Union.
The programme aims to strengthen young people's capacities and empower them as effective trainers in spreading the concepts of democracy and human rights. This training is part of the continuing efforts to develop community skills and spread awareness in the Gaza Strip of the importance of respecting human rights and working toward democracy in a practical, sustainable way.
The first session of the training focused on presentation skills, delivered by Dr Raed Helles, business-development consultant. The session covered how to build an effective address, engage an audience, and deliver presentations professionally and persuasively — enabling the participants to sharpen their skills in conveying the messages of democracy and human rights.
The participants praised the distinguished organisation and the importance of the topics raised, stressing the need to continue these initiatives that help build a society more aware of the issues of rights and freedoms. For its part, Pal-Think affirmed it will continue delivering more projects that contribute to developing the Gaza Strip and strengthening the values of democracy and human rights.
The “SWITCH” project stands as a model of cooperation between local and international institutions to strengthen fundamental human values and turn them into tangible daily practices serving Palestinian society.
