Call for initiatives promoting community reconciliation nationwide — July 2017
Pal-Think invites proposals for community activities and initiatives on Palestinian national reconciliation, under the project «Strengthening Palestinian civil society's role in achieving reconciliation and national unity».
The Pal-Think for Strategic Studies institution invites you to present proposals for communal activities and initiatives around the Palestinian national reconciliation within the project “Strengthening the role of Palestinian civil society in achieving the reconciliation and national unity”, with the goal of strengthening the work and practical coordination between civil-society organisations and affirming the continuation of the work for the sake of achieving national unity.
Conditions for presenting the initiatives:
- They should be distinguished and new, and aim at strengthening the role of civil-society organisations in the Palestinian communal reconciliation at the national level.
- The initiative's cost is limited, and the implementation cost does not exceed 750 dollars.
- It discusses a communal issue and proposes its solutions, and its implementation works on strengthening communication at the national level
- Preference will be given to the initiatives that carry the seeds of continuity and sustainability.
- It is preferable to involve other groups from outside the area of the implementing partner.
The mechanism of presenting the initiatives:
- The door of presenting the communal initiatives is opened beginning from the date 18/07/2017 and until the date 30/07/2017.
- Filling the initiative's form clearly and briefly in terms of the initiative's goal, the implementation mechanism, and the financial cost.
- Pal-Think studies the initiatives through a follow-up committee and approves them.
- The applying institutions are informed of the follow-up committee's decision, and the institutions whose initiatives were selected begin implementation in full coordination with Pal-Think for Strategic Studies.
- The institutions implementing the initiatives present an activity report through a unified form that will be circulated.
